Our History

Overcoming by Faith Church of Savannah, GA originated in 1976 in the home of Ernestine Dilworth. For five years, she served as the pastor of Overcoming Faith, teaching God’s Word to his people. On December 17, 1981, Ricky R. Temple, a graduate of LIFE Bible College in Los Angles, California, became pastor of Overcoming Faith; taking the ministry to another level through extraordinary teachings and dynamic outreaching projects across the nations.

Through Pastor Ricky Temple’s practical approach to God’s Word, Overcoming by Faith has become one of the fastest growing ministries in Savannah, Ga. Today, Overcoming by Faith continues to touch the lives of all God’s people through the addition of Radio, Television, and International Outreach. Known as “The Place for the Total Family”, Overcoming by Faith continues to touch the lives of all God’s people all around the world; devoting itself to EVANGELIZE, EDUCATE, ELEVATE,

and EMBRACE.
